Ini for Canada.com not working as it did before

Hi There.

I'm hoping someone on here can help me with an update to .ini for canada.com (if that is what will help to correct the problem I am about to describe). my webgrab and epg was working fine until about a few weeks ago.

One of the problems I am noting is that all of the start and stop times are duplicated for each show that is found. The start and stop time of each show in the xml file seem to be the date that I ran the webgrab and at time 0000. For example, I ran webgrab at around 11a.m. on April 9/2023 and in the guide.xml file the start and stop times for all programs look something like 202304090000. As a result, my epg software does not display any data. I think the start and stop time might be different say if I run webgrab closer to the end of the day.. (so the start and stop time will be tomorrow's date at time 0000).

Secondly, in comparing the tv listings section of canada.com website and my xml file, not all shows are put into the xml file from the webgrab run).

Finally, in looking at parts of my guide.xml file, you might notice information within tag sometimes seems to be populated with information from the next channel on the site?? (so webgrab grabs an extra programme for the channel which is not a programme at all).

Thank you in advance for any and all assistance that can be provided.

dont know how you even got this working as the sites hasnt shown any data for years.
i deleted from my files long ago.
looking at your guide.xml its in need of alot fixing.

Edit:my vpn dns wasnt resolving the host.i can see the data now.

i think you should just move to a different ini.
use tvguide.com or zap2it.com,both are in the international folder
there are some channel list provided, open the ini and read the remarks to create a custom one for specific city.

if your really stuck on canada.com i fixed it.

Updated 10 Apr 2023:
added channel logo,showicon
fix for start scrub
cleaned up ini, removed anything not needed.i hate a messy file.lol
added cookie file,se site {xxx} line for cookie file name(change it ot you wish).

re the cookie file:
ini seems to work fine with the session id added to the url lines but i think you should be using it.
see the howto.txt file to create it.for me webgrab gave a error about illegal data in the cookie file.
edit the cookie file and remove all the lines except the one with the session id(see the howto.txt file to know which line it is).
or remove the loadcookie= setting from the site {xxx} line.

I know this is an old thread but I was just looking at the canada.com.no-provider-info.howtocustomize.txt and the canada.com link provided is no longer available. It appears that they have changed the whole site. Possibly they don't provide tvlistings anymore?

Looking for a lot of canadian channels. Right now just looking to see how many details are in the epg data stream. TLC canada is a good start. I see it in the tvpassport. Will give it a try.
